SCHOLARSHIP FOR PUNJAB POST GRADUATE
DIPLOMA PROGRAM (2009-10)
As part of Punjab the Government’s ongoing
commitment to human resource development for
provincial government officers, Government
of the Punjab is launching a scholarship
scheme for Post Graduate Diploma Programs
2009-10 (Evening Classes). The focus of
these Diplomas shall be, on disciplines
including human resource management,
economics, law, management, environment. The
list of approved courses/universities may be
viewed on the official website of Punjab
Resource Management Program located at
www.punjab-prmp.gov.pk.
Eligible officers may be considered for
award of a limited number of scholarships
for one year Post Graduate Diploma Programs
only if their nominations/recommendations
(keeping in view the eligibility criteria)
are forwarded by the concerned provincial
Secretary, to the Program Director, Punjab
Resource Management Program.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Officers/officials fulfilling the following
eligibility criteria may apply through their
concerned Provincial Secretary:

Regular employees of Government of the
Punjab belonging to various Provincial
Services/Groups, working with the
provincial government.

Have
a high standard of academic background
with a suitable level of previous study.

Must
have secured admission in one of the
identified programs
-
Must not be
above 45 years of age.

The
officer/official should not have an
adverse remark in the last three years’
ACRs.

Could
be both gazetted as well as non-gazetted
employees/staff of provincial government
-
Officers nominated by departmental heads
meeting the eligibility criteria will be
given the scholarship (only tuition fees
and initial expenses), subject to the
provision of funds.

Only
those candidates will be considered for
funding who will get admission in the
identified post graduate programs
against the indicated universities/
institutes.
Acceptance by the university is not a
guarantee for final selection. Final
selection will be made in line with the
eligibility criteria and availability of
scholarship.
PRMP reserves the right to reject any
candidate or call off the whole selection
process without assigning any reason,
whatsoever.
HOW TO APPLY
Application on the designated application
form should be routed through the concerned
provincial Secretary, to the Program
Director, PRMP, at least a month before the
programme commences. Advance copy of the
application may also be sent for intimation
to Program Director, PRMP at following
coordinates.
List of universities/training institutes and
PGDs as well as designated application form
may be downloaded from PRMP’s website
www.punjab-prmp.gov.pk PRMP reserves the
right to modify the criteria, list of
disciplines & universities.
