About PRMP

PRMP is a comprehensive, medium-term policy reform program of Government of the Punjab. It is designed to be implemented in three phases, each phase comprising of separate subprogram, over next four to five years. Under each subprogram, time-bound achievement targets towards reaching the final outcome have been formulated with progress measurable through specified actions. The first phase will be fully implemented in 2004-05 and will focus on fiscal and financial management measures as well as reform of Institutional arrangements and processes that link funding allocations to service delivery. Simultaneously, reform and capacity building activities of key government agencies and preparation of next generation reforms will be initiated. The expected Outcomes, Achievements and details of Agreed Actions to be undertaken by the Government of the Punjab for implementation of the first subprogram are outlined in the Policy Matrix
