CONSULTING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS

 

Government of the Punjab, with the assistance of Asian Development Bank has initiated ‘Punjab Resource Management Program (PRMP) for improving governance and public service delivery. The Program is structured in sequential Sub-programs with specific output and outcome targets for each sub-Program. Major reform areas under the PRMP are as follow:-

International Consultant for Benchmarking in selected departments

One Expert for benchmarking of service delivery in E&T and L&DD with focus on:-

  • Functional benchmarking;

  • Business processes benchmarking;

  • Human Resource processes and systems

  • benchmarking;

Human Resource Management Specialist for Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC)

One position to assist and complement the work of consultants reviewing the PPSC, and recommend measures to improve the functions, systems, and operations of the PPSC.

Survey Specialist (domestic) for conducting survey on Review of Contract Employment Policy

One specialist to conduct a stakeholder survey (Health and Education Departments) for review of Punjab Contract Employment Policy

Public Sector Financial Expert (domestic) for viability for Public Sector Organizations

One position to provide Technical Assistance to the Finance Department on Financial Viability Analysis of Public Sector Organization (PSOs) and recommend future course of action including liquidation, divestment, privatization or closure.

Development Planning Expert to review Punjab Planning Manual (domestic)

To review recast and revise the existing Punjab planning manual in line with the requirements of Medium Terms Development Framework (MTDF) mode.
